b_to_lines Readme
=================

Description
-----------

This sample utility converts one B mode "Echo Wave II" TVD/TPD file to multiple
BIN files of scan lines in the same folder. Also to text files is saved
information about each frame (or compound subframe). User interface has
options for selecting what files (scan lines, frame format files or both)
are required.

BIN file stores bytes (only bytes!) of one scan line.
BIN file naming format:
fname.tvd.frm_num.line_num.bin
fname.tpd.frm_num.line_num.bin

TXT files store frame format information:
fname.tvd.frm_num.txt
fname.tpd.frm_num.txt

Used notation of measurement units in frame format files and software sources:
us     - microseconds
ns     - nanoseconds
100 ns - nanoseconds*100
um     - micrometers
rad    - radians

Requirements
------------

This utility can be run on computer with installed latest version of
"Echo Wave II" software or Usgfw2 SDK runtime libraries.
